Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 31, 2008 — Runaway Stars the music web series, written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Varda Hardy, draws viewers in and sweeps them up into the emotional lives of an emerging band called Runaway Stars. Viewers then travel with the band as they trip, fall and spin on their roller coaster to success. This is a fictitious but realistic story about musicians searching for their destiny. The band members, Duncan, Kubrick and Lenny (played by Goodwill, Nutt and Fazzio) must work their way through relationships, obsessions and unresolved emotions to achieve their dreams of stardom. The cast wrote and performed all six of the original songs featured in the series. Goodwill, famous for his role in the Evanescence video, scored the series.

The web series was produced by Patrick S. Bennett, Karen Lavender(LiveTribe Productions) and William Swann and stars Oliver Goodwill, J.R. Nutt, Leon Fazzio, Laura Ornelas, Melissa Leigh and Xander Cardinale. Varda Hardy, a talented independent filmmaker whose work has screened at Cannes, is known for her engaging imagery and willingness to grapple with true emotions — however uncomfortable.
