New website designed to exhibit Portraits with Pizzaz (photography illustrations) and leading-edge digital art.
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) August 26, 2008 — Award-winning artist John Michael is proud to announce the launch of his new website, www.artedel.com. The fine-art website is called Arte Del Ritratto (The Art of Portrait) and has been designed to exhibit John Michael’s digital art and photography illustrations.
“Digital photography illustration is an exciting combination of straight forward photography and fine art, expressionist painting,” said John Michael. “It’s exciting to know that I can take a rather ordinary portrait and through digital enhancement, I can bring out the best in the image or the person by adding excitement, adding interesting drama and vibrant energy, and enhancing the colors. I like to call them Portraits with Pizzaz.”
“As a former professional photographer, I appreciate the work that goes into a photo shoot. I also know how frustrating it can be when those images are less than spectacular. That is why I’m now working with photographers, helping to take their photography portraits and turning them into spectacular works of art.”
The beautifully designed website highlights the artist’s outstanding photography illustration and provides an artist bio, artist statements, details about Arte Del Ritratto, and a variety of exhibits. Future expansion will include the artist’s digital art work.
John Michael is a Phoenix, Arizona, based artist and is fast becoming recognized throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Over the past 3 years, the artist sold over 60 paintings to collectors. Many of John Michael’s paintings are in corporate as well as private collections throughout the United States and his work has received rave reviews recently by many collectors.
He has a growing reputation and relationship with several galleries in Italy and, recently, with art collectors and enthusiasts in Spain, India and Argentina. He recently was selected to exhibit work on Toronto, Canada, and in Italy.
